 Ok, so March is here. Can you believe it? I’ve finally purchased the domains to Fit is the New Black, and What it Feels like For a Girl. It’s been a long time coming.

I’m staring an eating/fitness program/challenge, which will have me waking up at 4 am, and avoiding process foods. If you want to join me shoot me a message here, or at ask4thegurl@gmail.com It is not a “official” challenge, but could easily turn into one if people start contacting me. Right now it’s just me trying to get leaner, stronger, faster, and better.

Periodically I receive messages from a new fit blogger who wants me to promote them. Now, I don’t promote blogs. I just think creating a post with a list of repeated links is unproductive and not attention grabbing. HOWEVER, I am very in favor of showcasing great blogs that other fit bloggers can benefit from. I generally do this on my own, with no prodding. If you do want to contribute to Fitisthenewblack.me , or are just looking to get your name out there I am currently looking for new playlist ideas. If you have some recommendations (about 10), shoot me an email or message with 1) Your songs, 2) Why this playlist gets you moving and 3) a little blurb about your blog. If your playlist has been accepted for my site I will let you know and also do a little spotlight feature on you. I will not accept submissions from Pro-ED blogs, as it goes against the entire creed of Fit is the New Black.

What it Feels Like For A Girl

If anyone of you could see me right now, you wouldn’t be able to do anything but think, Damn,girl! You a hot mess!

Seriously, readers-I look like boo-boo. Oh, and I feel like boo-boo too. I need to take some vitamins or something. I was up super late last night, which lead me to sleep late today. Oops!

I wanted to hit the gym as soon as I woke up, but of course, there were obligations/responsibilities to fulfill. *rolling eyes* Not in a good mood. Plus side? I just decided a new playlist theme. Stay Tuned!

Things to Look Forward To

This week Taylor Ryan will be creating a post and plan for easy gainers (as in you gain muscle easy). She will be showing you how to get strong, defined, drop the fat, and look lean and fabulous! Bulk free.

I will also be working on trying to upload a load of videos I’ve have recorded for MONTHS on how to make certain wonderful things for your body. Let’s hope it actually works.

 As promised, Fit is the New Black is expanding, with lots of new features, articles and things to keep you motivated on your health and fitness journey. There are new body calculators, giveaways, feature articles, playlist, and much much more. As I write this there is new content to be viewed, so view it!)

 What do all these changes mean for you? They mean that the mother-site will have more articles for you to read; more reviews; more recipes and interactive tools to keep you on track.

No worries, die-hard tumblrs. I will not let this site (fitisthenewblack.tumblr.com) go to pot. It will still be filled with fitspo pics, my daily workouts and meals, links and everything it has always had. You can still message me here, but you can now also email me at ask4thegurl@gmail.com for in depth fitness and health assistance.

Why do I have two sites? Well, there are two reasons. The first being that I want a site that I can actually speak about publicly (how many of us keep our tumblrs a secret from people?). Next, some followers really need solid information and Fit is the New Black is really geared for that. It’s also a good place to have an open dialogue with me and other bloggers through the comment section. At the tumblr branch I can’t respond to replies to my questions because of how the tumblr system is set up. I find that annoying. The mother-site is designed so I can comment on your replies and basically communicate with all of you in an easier fashion. I consider the tumblr branch of the site really for VIP (aka, you guys) who want to know more about me, the things I find motivating, and all of that jazz.

For the followers who are beauty buffs, fashion lovers, book readers, and DIY inclined, check out Fit is the New Black’s sister site, What it Feels Like for a Girl. PLEASE feel free to also email me your beauty questions to ask4thegurl@gmail.com I LOVE recommending products to people, and yes, I actually go out and research your question, sample stuff, and take time to give you the best possible answer I can muster.

In closing, I hope you all check every part of my sites out. I know it seems daunting, but if you follow me on Bloglovin (there is one for this site, the main site, and What it Feels like for a Girl) you get notified about new post. Why is that important? So you don’t miss out on any of my announcements. So many of you were clueless to my last giveaway, and I suspect it is because we all have dashboards that fill up with new things every freaking second!
