Flexibility is the red headed stepchild of exercise. Think about it: When you’re pressed for time but determined to get a full workout, what do you skip? Stretching, duh! But you really should be saying dumb, because that’s what it is to skip your stretches.

Most people forget that fitness is a 3-part affair: Cardio, resistance training, and flexibility. That’s a real shame, because stretching can:

-Lead to better posture
-Prevent injuries
-Enhance performance
-Ease sore muscles
-Increase blood and nutrient to tissue
-Reduce lower back pain
-Increase muscle circulation
