Weekend Workout

If you’re looking for a way to push yourself this weekend it’s not too late to try the latest…

Weighing yourself from time to time can be helpful, especially if you truly need to lose weight. But remember, being a healthy weight doesn’t necessarily mean you are fit. True fitness requires you to work on your cardiovascular health, strength training, and flexibility. Furthermore, having a healthy diet is key. Yes, calories in VS calories out is how pounds are dropped, but eating your daily calories in candy bars will make you feel drastically different than if you got your calories from whole foods.

If the scale is ruling you, GET RID OF IT! Smash it, sell it, toss it in the trash…whatever. Whatever you do, don’t let an inanimate object ruin your day. Instead of solely relying on the scale, measure how much faster or longer you are running. Take pride in how many reps you can do or how heavy you can lift? Do you clothes fit better? Do you have more energy or sleep better?

Remember, there are many ways to gauge progress.

@goodness_graciouss: Allow me to re-introduce myself… lol ok I’m happy with my transformation 😊 I’ve done one of these pics before, but this one is up to date and I wanted to see if I could be featured on @teamnodaysoff !! Top left is January 2012 and bottom right is current! Top left was after Brazil Buttlift, then I moved on to Insanity, then Asylum Vol. 1, then the Asylum/Insanity Hybrid program and now I am going I have started my second round of Asylum Vol. 1!! (Yes yes too poor for Vol. 2…but as soon as I have some extra cash I plan of buying it! I work with what I have lol) . As of my diet, I have always followed the Meal Plan Booklets that come with each Program, simple as that! They make it extremely easy to follow, as simplified as how many meals per day you should eat along with your specific caloric intake amount listed below. The only supplement I have ever taken has been Whey Protein after each workout and my daily vitamins, I’ve always liked to keep it as natural as possible. And the best part…..WHAT GYM?? I’ve Never left my house!! No excuses!!
