Recipe:
1 cup of mixed berries
1 scoop of vegan protein powder
1 banana
6 oz of water or 100 percent fruit juice
Directions:
Place food in blender and blend.
Drink.
This smoothie has 20 grams of protein, and 3 servings of fruit, which is the minimum requirement for your daily recommended fruit serving.
Riia’s Vegan Banana Nut Muffins
*Altered from this recipeIngredients:
3 Ripe Bananas (mashed)
3 tbsp Olive Oil
2 cups flour (aim for healthier flours…no white flours!)
3/4 cup Sugar (or applesauce as a substitute)
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 tsp Cinnamon (or desired amount)
1/2 cup Walnuts (optional)How to:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix mashed bananas with olive oil. Add in flour, sugar, baking soda,vanilla extract and cinnamon. Blend using an electric mixer until smooth texture. Stir in walnuts.
Pour batter into desired pan. I chose a cupcake tray because it makes portion control easier!
Cook for about 30-60 minutes, depending on pan size! Enjoy :)Oh my god MUST TRY ASAP
